Yes, it has come to this.

I am an almost-thirty, newly wed, social worker who was recently picked up and dropped in the middle of rural Oklahoma. 

Formerly always too busy to pursue a real hobby, I found myself with a lot of time on my hands and nothing to do. 

My prior cooking experience is nil. Zilch. Zero. I have no, I repeat, no training. I have only recently learned that I love it. 

I hope to share my successes and failures in cooking (with other people's fabulous recipes who I promise always to credit). I hope to one day be able to write my own. I hope to share and receive ideas. And I hope to get a little more connected to that big world out there, which currently I am unable to see from my kitchen window.
